Another Glimpse

It's so easy to become frustrated with the hurry up and wait processes, and the on-again-off-again twists and turns that take place in the world of adoption. This verse tends to be one of my go-to places:


^{Matthew 6: 33} But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. ³⁴Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.


But it is always nice to wake up in the morning and find something like this, a glimpse at the boy behind the red tape and the paperwork, behind the deadlines and the closures...

And it is those deep dark eyes and those sweet pudgy cheeks of his that remind us that all of this hoop-jumping is going to end with quite the amazing, life-changing conclusion for all of us.
