Giveaway Winners Announced!!

Hey all!

It has been CAH-RAZY here, to say the least.  I am wrapping up a giant project with Ian and Chase's school (did I mention that I tend to volunteer for big projects and have a hard time recognizing how many hours are actually in a day?).  By the way, if you live in the Charlotte area and want something to do this Saturday, stop by Waxhaw Elementary School for our Spring Fling carnival from 10am-2pm.  You won't be disappointed!!!

So...I have been a bad, bad blogger.

This was a rockstar fund raiser.  Thanks to our many, many, many contributors, from small donations, to very large...paired with good thoughts and prayers...and many people who posted and reposted to their blogs and FB pages...

We made over $9300.

Uh, yeah.

That's nine thousand, three hundred plus dollars, people.

You ROCK.

Do you know what that means?  That means we have the check that we need to give to our Ukraine team when we travel.  In the bank.  Right there.  No loans needed.  That's what you did, my friends.  How awesome are you?

Want to know what is even more awesome?

When we began the iPad2 giveaway, we threw out the figure of $9,000 knowing that it was a lofty goal, but praying that we could reach it.  We wanted $9K.  We got over $9K.  You can't tell me that God doesn't hear  our prayers.  Coincidence is just God working anonymously.  Someone said that to me once, and I like to think about it that way :)

Thank you ALL...over and over again.  We are so close to our goal.  We have a few more tricks up our sleeves, and we will be fully funded in no time :)
