Chip In!

One of the more difficult aspects of this adoption is raising the funds (the MOST difficult aspect was actually saying YES out loud...more on that later!).  And although we *may* be able to find upwards of $10 in the couch  cushions, it is certainly not enough to bring our boy home.

We will be scrimping and saving this year, and are already writing some big checks just 3 days into the process.  I hate hate HATE asking for money, or even talking about it, but if you wanted to, say, skip Starbucks one or two mornings this month and throw us a ten on our Chip In! widget on the sidebar, we would SO appreciate it.  Little by little, we know we will get there.

Once the flurry of paper work settles down a bit, we will start planning out our fundraisers. We definitely want to do a blog auction and a raffle, so if you have any items that you could donate for either one of those events, that would be a HUGE help (we know there has got to be someone with a new iPad that is just laying around).   If you have any great ideas or want to share something that has worked for you, please do.  We are new to this!
