This is a really interesting, funny, and downright amusing cookbook to read. There are chapters by decade with vintage photos and historical facts. Also notable are the chapters about "Foods that Wiggle" and "Weird Little Sandwiches." Not all the recipes are as bizarre as the Cabbage and Grapefruit Salad of 1945, I promise. 60 pages.
