More Photos

Before our SDA appointment, we wandered around this park-y, church-y area again.  I think you had to pay to go inside this little church, so we peeked inside and took a picture instead.
There is a story about how these idols, ancient statues of gods, were thrown into the river and then recovered by one of the rulers...
Now the statues sit outside the history museum in upper K.
They have little roofs over their heads, though, so it's all good.
There is something inscribed on this rock- something about maybe K being built upon it or something...?
This is a 300 year old tree.  A woman kept saying something about "Leepa" or something...not sure what it meant?  Maybe it is a Leepa Tree?
There are stray dogs all over the place, but they aren't aggressive at all.
We're hanging out before our SDA appointment... Thanks to my brother for giving me his sunglasses. They are coming in handy.
This famous statue of a scene from a romantic comedy is right outside the SDA office.  It's supposed to be good luck to touch the bug on that dude's heiney.
 These crepe things are delicious!
U* opera house with random ladies in front of it.
The difference between the buildings here is huge- there are buildings with gorgeous architecture from the 19th century, and then across the street you see something like this:
Random guys on the street with man-purses (murses!)- they all carry them!:
Nikko and Bryan buying our train tickets for tomorrow evening!!
Our apartment building is in back of the library...which, thanks to my 4 years of high school Spanish, I can recognize :)
Our apartment building.  Our room is on the top floor, the windows close to the stairs on the left.
I did laundry today!  In my kitchen!  LOL.
The hardest part was figuring out where the soap went and which cycle I needed.  Luckily most of it was in pictograms!
