*Wear good walking shoes. The ladies who live here may be able to walk on the rough streets in 3 inch heels, but you will not be able to. (Not that I tried...I can't even walk in heels at home...I brought my Birks and they are working out quite well!)
*Google maps is in Russian.
*Tipping about 10% is standard in restaurants.
And away we go!
In flight entertainment:
Bad picture of the big statue in K*** because Bryan was afraid that our driver was going to kidnap me:
Can't remember what this is called, but this is a better picture of the statue. It's famous. Google it.
Um, history museum? I think...?
St Something's in the back, and another St. Something's in the front. I'm really bad at this.
Another photo of St. Something's. The architecture is SO beautiful.
Cobblestone road down a big hill towards the SDA office and lower K. That big castle at the end is reportedly haunted.
Cable car ride back up to upper K. Cool art-deco architecture...there are so many different styles all over the place. That's Eugene (our guide) in the gray and Bryan in the blue. Notice the murse that Eugene carries. That is very popular here. I'm trying to convince Bryan to start carrying one.
Government building that I can't remember the name of. Maybe Department of Foreign Affairs?
A very blurry photo during the worship at Hillsong K***. Great energy :)
This made me laugh!!! That is sooo how I am going to describe all the places I don't know! LOL
