We are wrapping up the most.boring.day.ever. here in Kharkov. During yesterday's burst of activity, Bryan did something to aggravate his already broken knee (geez, you'd think he didn't have an ACL or something...lol) and it was swollen and tender last night. There is not much to do around here that doesn't involve walking a mile, going up and down a bunch of stairs, or riding a crazy bumpy bus...so we took a day off and did absolutely nothing. Well, except finish all the chocolate and Pringles in the apartment and fiendishly read Game of Thrones.
Upside: I finally figured out what to do with those liver-filled frozen vareniki: use them to ice Bryan's injuries!!
Tomorrow, we plan to continue Bryan's misery and take him to a dentist to take care of some tooth issues that are becoming a problem. Don't worry- Nate has a dentist that he trusts, and it will be a fraction of the cost that it would be in the US.
Hopefully in a few days, he'll be able to walk on his own AND eat solid food :)
PS- it is day 37 today, in case you didn't notice.
Ugh--seriously?? Day 37? You're getting close to our 42 day trip! Go to court, go home! :)
