Unfortunately, that makes for a hard time falling back to sleep-- and times like that when I just ache to hug all my guys close.
*sigh*
But- good times in the morning. We visited Danila today, and hung out with Babushka and Dedushka. They are seriously the kindest people ever. I wish so badly that we knew enough Russian to converse with them.
Today we got Danya to play on the slide a little more (typically he goes for the swing on the playground and ignores everything else). Of course, I had to get on the slide and climb around on the play set to get him interested :) I don't know how often the grown-ups get on the equipment like that, but I'm thinking that it isn't very frequently from the looks that I was getting!
After the playground, it was time for more almost-hippotherapy (aka, donkey rides). Danya totally loves this- which means that I bet we could start doing real hippotherapy at Misty Meadows this year with him and Chase and it would be really awesome. I love horseback riding, and would be beyond excited if the boys took to it as well :)
This evening, we had our own little Reece's Rainbow dinner party at our apartment. I made Loaded Baked Potato soup from this recipe and it was fantabulous, if I do say so myself. Cara and Doug came over for dinner, card games, and we attempted to cut Bryan's hair with their new clippers, but it did not turn out so well. Thumbs up on dinner and games, thumbs down on hair cutting. He will just be shaggy for the rest of our trip.
In appeal news today: Tatyana called this evening to tell us that we would be meeting with the assistant to the judge tomorrow morning. We know that this is NOT the official court, but a preliminary meeting so that we can answer some questions that they have for us. What we do not know is if the assistant to the judge is actually Dwight Shrute or not.
