Day 44

We paid the price for drinking too much Coke and coffee at Victor's birthday party last night, because we could NOT get to sleep.  Maybe around 2am we started to drift off, so getting up this morning was difficult...but at 9:30 we stumbled out of the apartment so that we could walk to McDonald's and make it there in time for Egg McMuffins.  You know, important stuff. 

Sidenote:  the Russian word for "latte" is "latte".  And you can ask for a big one- balshoya latte.  I needed that this morning.

We made it to Calvary Chapel on time for a great service and fellowship afterwards.  The pastor spoke about setting goals and purpose for your life, and asking God to lead you through to meet them.  What do you want to be remembered for?  What will your mark be upon the world?  Big questions...but good to focus your life and line it up with your priorities. 

We walked to N3yata Xata for lunch, then walked to Billa for groceries.  Surely we must be building up some kind of cardiovascular endurance here.


The rest of today will be slow...laundry, coking dinner at home, and naps before watching the Bronco game at 11:15pm.  Happy Sunday to all...:)
