Helping Hands- Bringing Andriy Home

The world of adoption has definitely made us acutely aware that life isn't just about us anymore, or our family, or even our circle of friends.  Life is about what we can do for others...for not always asking for answers to prayers, but also for being the answer to someone else's prayers.

We went into this adoption knowing that we could only bring one child home with us, being fully aware that we'd wish that we could bring home all the children that looked at us with wide eyes and called us Mama and Papa at the orphanage.  We know that bringing Danila home is what we can  handle right now, but we said from the beginning that we would commit to helping families in our area fundraise to bring their own children home.

Enter Amanda B.  She contacted me when she heard through Reece's Rainbow about our court debacle, and offered to help provide some respite to my mother-in-law.  This whole time, we've been living about 30 minutes away from each other, and have never once met...and here I am, 5,000 miles away, and she offers to entertain my kids while she is in the middle of submitting her dossier and fundraising for her own adoption of her little guy, Andriy, through Reece's Rainbow.

Isn't he sweeeeeet?

So, I'm asking you...all my new friends and followers, people who have stepped up and shown us support when we really needed it...could you, would you, pop on over to her blog, Just ONE More 4 Us, and show her some support for her big, awesome giveaway?

Just $10 gets you an entry for some big prizes, and helps bring Andriy home...and brings the chromosome count for the greater Charlotte area up once again! :)
